Full Version: Questions about my preorders...

So I have some VERY specific questions I just want answered quickly, then to have this thread closed and dead.

First: I went to GameStop today to try to preorder the Collector's Edition of Tales of Vesperia (don't start, I'm a sucker for special/collector's/whatever editions, and you can't change my mind) and they said it wasn't showing up in their systems, that maybe it was "online only" (clearly it isn't). And now when I check online, their website says it isn't available online...I preordered the regular version any way, in hopes of just moving that money to the CE when the game comes in... Any word on this?

Second: I also preordered Infinite Undiscovery and they knew nothing about the preorder bonuses (limited ed. foil cover print thingy, and DL code for items). I assume the foil cover will come with the game, but what about the DL codes? I like free stuff... Sad

Last: On top of those, I preordered BK: Nuts & Bolts, and was wondering, is the free BK64 download gonna come with the game, or will it be another card thingy I have to pick up from them? If so, when?

I'm a paranoid bastard. I know...
IIRC, ToV:SE is limited to certain stores. maybe gamestop isnt getting them.

i found a link to one and it seems pretty cheap:

and to your other two questions: maybe you should stop buying stuff from a game store that doesnt know what the hell they have or dont have. none of my preorders(with bonus stuff) with them have ever gone through. they either dont receive them or didnt know about it.

go with a site like amazon where you know youre gonna receive any bonuses or extra stuff. you may not get it first day, but it's better than being paranoid for weeks. if youre really hell-bent on buying from gamestop, then do that online too.
The only reason I go to that GameStop is because it's the only one in my town, and driving into San Francisco=traffic out the ass... I guess you're right...
yup, use a differernt games store, a good one.
