A PS3 Fanboy tipster (left anonymous to protect his identity) told us about a new update to the Home beta. The update adds a few redesigned locales, like a brand new Home Square. A new music application is being added to the central square as a meeting place for Home's virtual citizens. Here, they can listen to music as a group and even virtually dance.
The beta program will continue to expand over the next few weeks, and looking at the version number -- it won't be long until this baby reaches good ol' one point zero. At that point, is Home considered officially "ready"?

My excitement level for Home has peaked again. For a while I really didn't care too much about it, but now it's tickling my fancy.
Home still exists? Man, this better be pretty darn good to warrant all the time they're taking on it. Honestly, I've lost interest. It was cool before but now it's just like 'meh, whatever'
The weird thing is, is that Sony was supposed to send out Beta invites to the US by the end of August. No one in the US has got invites yet (Europe has), and August ends tomorrow. And I doubt they'll send out emails on a Sunday.. wonder if this means that Home has been delayed for the 5th time..
