"TimeSplitters 4 details have been few and far between since its official reveal, but the folks at PSM3 (PlayStation 3 Magazine) have snagged a few details on the upcoming shooter.
According to Derek Littlewood of Free Radical, TimeSplitters 4 won't utilize the heavily-criticized Haze graphics engine. Instead, Free Radical opted for some "new and double shiny tech."
While this all sounds good, the game is still early on in the development cycle, and won't see the light of day for a while. What may come a bit sooner, if PSM3 is to be believed, is a TimeSplitters 2 remake in HD, which would most likely be released on the PlayStation Network. It would certainly get folks excited about the new TimeSplitters, that's for sure."

To Haze, I despise that game not just because it sucks but because Ubisoft or whoever asked my favorite band to make a song for it, like damn, and the song isn't even that good, sorry KoRn, your version of Kidnap The Sandy Claws is better though, anyways...
I'm glad and interested at the same time, I'm glad that they're not use the crappy Haze engine for TS4 and interested to what this new engine might bring.
I heard that TS2 might be made into HD, but never thought it would happen, can't wait to see TS2, one of the best FPS games EVER!!!!1111 be made HD, good to fill in the gap between now and the far away TS4.
