I want to take off my credit card information thats stored on my 360, mainly because i'd rather pay for stuff through prepaid XBL cards, so theres no need for me to have that information on my 360 anymore. But I looked around and I don't know how to delete it?
You'll need to burn your 360 to the ground, and ship the ashes (and preferably fumes) over to Microsoft with a letter telling them you'll bomb their HQ if they don't remove your credit card information from their database.

They'll most likely refuse and beef up security; this will be a problem since you'll now have to break into their HQ and get into their database, the vents are an ideal path there.
Mind the fans as they sharpen them regularly, you'll probably need to either short circuit them  or bring plenty of aluminum pipes to block their path so you may continue.

Once in the database you'll be home free, save for the mutant dogs, anti-personnel turrets and one or two death rays. If you manage to tame the mutant dogs, they should be able to turn off the death rays and re-program the turrets which will allow you t head over to the main computer (Hopefully you've worked with a Mac before cause that's what the computer is), if you remembered to bring your hacking gear this should be a sinsh otherwise, type "billgatesisthebest" when prompted for a password and that should let you in.

Open folder "Souls in our Possession" and search for your name, don't delete the folder, as that would erase you're soul forever, just cut the folder and place it in a portable flash drive that you obviously brought with you. After this you'll be prepared to look for your credit card information. By this time Microsoft should be sending multiple androids over to "dispose" of you, you'll need to act quickly. Use the Mac's search your name and your credit card information folder should appear. Delete it, and empty the recycling bin. There will still be traces of information that can be pulled back by Microsoft's top programmers so you'll need to fragment the drive. Not "quick format" as that isn't reliable enough.

By this time the androids should have a BSoD or a RRoD, or both, so they should no longer be a problem. The hungry dogs however, will be. Head through the vents and escape to freedom. Your credit card information is now safe from microsoft... now it's time for Paypal, Steam and many others, you have plenty of work left...

Of course, if you plan on playing the 360 after this would be rather pointless. The only other way to remove your credit card information is to call Microsoft support.
Press 1 (360 support)
Press 1 (XBox Live billing support)
Press 2 (Cancel account)
Press 1 (To speak to someone)

You'll need to give them your name, Credit card number, address, phone #, xboxlive username, and mobile phone #.

Someone will call you're cell within 48 hours to confirm your request.

30 days later they'll remove you're credit card info (hopefully). (A minor side effect is that they "blacklist" your credit card, meaning you can't use it with them ever again)

Also, make sure you don't miss any of their calls. Or else they put yur request on hold. They'll call over and over about confirming your request hopeing you'll cave and just let them keep it.
never tried removing one, but you could just leave it there and continue to buy point or your subscriptions through retail. once your CC expires, just dont update the info on the 360.
