So I just picked up my preordered copy of Infinite Undiscovery and the GameStop employee handed me a little cardboard thingy that was solid black with the Infinite Undiscovery logo on the cover. I opened it just now to discover the Download code on one side and, instead of the special cover art I was expecting, a foil printed image on a piece of cardboard about the size of a DVD case on the other side.

WTF? What the hell am I supposed to do with this? It has no functionality, not even as a poster. It's just a guy with a sword and some building collapsing. Hell, his face is even cut off. What is this?

Also, has anyone seen the Best Buy exclusive packaging? Is it cool? Pics?
that sound horrible.

but man im so late Infinate Discovery is already out!
I found these pics that someone over at gamefaqs took (I can't find my camera)

Does anyone know if Best Buy is giving these out too? Or just the exclusive foil cover art? I wish I hadn't already opened my copy...I'd return it to GameStop, keep the code and...cardboard thing...and pick up a copy from best buy with the shiny foil cover art Sad

DAMN I'm a sucker for these bonus-y things...
lmao! funny stuff!
looks like you got the shaft.
I heard Infinite Undiscovery was pretty mediocre. Were all those reviews wrong?

Not sure yet... After I made this thread I had to spend an hour on the phone with Wachovia bank because they'd screwed up some stuff with my student loan payments, then had to go to dinner at my Sister-In-Law's place, then was exhausted and went home and to bed. I just woke up and have to leave for work in less than an hour.

Basically, I haven't had the chance to play it yet.

We'll see how it is soon enough, I hope. I love JRPGs, though, so I doubt it can disappoint me TOO much Toungue
