I was REALLY surprised to see that nobody has made a Spore thread since yesterdays release... So I want to know what everyone thinks!
Has anyone else here picked it up?
If so what's your favorite part and thing about the game thus far?
Also if there's something that anyone would have like to have seen approached differently in regards to the UI, gameplay capabilities, or any other such items sound off and let's hear it!
Currently, I'm still running from nest to nest evolving and have been enjoying that for some time.

I had a play with the trial version of the Creature creator, just considering weather I should buy the real thing or not. ^.^
Wow it finally released? All this hype about it and when its finally released nobody has anything to say about it? (media and otherwise)
That's a bad sign for Spore.
Personally, its on my top 10 list, but I'd rather wait for a price drop.
(I went to EB today, I love the Collector's edition box, not worth the 80$ price tag though)

Spore seems to be copping okay reviews, the problem with expecting so much from it. The street date was broken in Australia so it's been out for a week here. I'll be picking it up when I get the chance.

amazon usa? I just looked, it's still there. The average customer review is still 1 star...
The only thing that blows about it at this point for me is that I am running a copy purchased by my roommate. Therefore, I am barred from any online functionality due to conflicting serial #'s. I'll likely pick up my own copy in the next day or so.
But it really is surprising how after years of pent up hype that the title made such a silent entry onto the market.
Yeah I personally really like it. My creatures are weird but meh.

I didn't have a mouse wheel at the time as I was playing it on my laptop and the game really doesn't take that into consideration so I couldn't scale my creatures parts.
