I just bought the game only version today. The new peripherals just don't seem worth it.
i own a GH:A guitar so I use that and my drums are in perfect working order.

Nice comparison, I really should pick up Rock Band 1 or 2.
It's a shame I suck at Guitar hero.

You probably won't suck at Rock Band--it's MUCH easier, forgiving, and catered towards a party atmosphere where as Guitar Hero is more towards the hardcore

Guitar Hero is much more towards the mash buttons audience and **** fun. (If you go beyond Hard that is... Normal and Easy are fun.)

Rock Band 2 is perfect imo. It has those fun, all around easy party songs, and then there's the hard rhythm coordinated songs that are really challenging.

Didn't they say they where purposely making WT easier?
Anyway, I wonder how the GH "instruments" stack up to RB2's in the noise departement.
I really just want to know the response is for drums, since RB1 drum response was horrible.
