Just curious if anyone knows of any differences between these two versions of the game. I'm trying to find some and am having no luck. My friend also has a Wii so I'll just borrow his copy to play that version, but the 360 and PS3 I'm assuming will be pretty similar. Any differences I should know about before buying versus the other?
Thus far the 360 version seems to have been reviewed by more publications, and is getting slightly higher reviews. I read somewhere, maybe in EGM, that the PS3 version had an audio glitch in it.
Alls I know is that we got our copies into the store today to sell tomorrow, and I swam in them. By which I mean stuck my arms in the totes and swirled them around. SO MUCH STAR WARS!
Yeah in the EGM review they mention that there are sound glitches in the PS3 version, but beyond that they are likely much the same. From what I've read it doesn't sound like any version is worth spending your money on, but I have no doubt this game will sell like crazy (unfortunately).
Yeah i was looking forward to this game. I'm probably going to still enjoy it since I'm a major Star Wars fan and of course they'll eventually patch many of these problems. Still, I'm disheartened to hear that it's not as good as it could've been.

So it sounds expectedly great, but like with the visuals, you may come across some bugs. While we played the PS3 version, the voice track would occasionally fade away, making it essentially impossible to hear dialogue over the music. In the Xbox 360 version, the voice track became desynched from character lip movements several times. It's too bad, because the game's audio is almost as well conceived as its art.

I played both demos, and noticed the 360 version was a bit darker than the PS3 version. PS3 controller felt more comfortable for the game as well. But yeah the PS3 has reported audio glitches, the Gametrailer's review even said that the audio completely cut out during the final ending cutscene lol. That sucked. (I dont know if they reviewed a ps3 or 360 copy though)
As I posted earlier, the PS3 does have audio glitches whereas the voices get drowned out by louder music, but the Xbox 360's voices don't always sync with the lip movement of the characters talking. All of this coming from Cnet.

I'll take voices that I can't hardly hear (turn on captions) over de-synched voices, because that really drives me nuts.
Just wait for the debugged PC version d:
^This is only a rumour at the moment
the pc version will never be released.
Forget the 360 version and ps3 versions.
'THEEEE' version to have is the fully loaded WII version, with dual mode and 5 all new levels only on the Weeeeeeeeee all the way home.

ahem.

yeah it may not have the best gfx of the bunch but from everything i've heard the wii version is by far the best of the bunch.
My buddy has a Wii as well and is getting it so I'm just going to borrow his copy when I'm done with the pretty versions. Big Grin
For those who have the game, can anyone get passed that mechanical spider-alien Jedi on Raxus Prime (junkyard level)? Like, I can't even do damage to him, its not that its hard or cheap.. its like impossible. He always has his lightsaber block up, and I can't do any combo's because when i'm in the middle of doing one he just force pushes me away, then won't even give me a chance to get up because he keeps hitting me. Its getting really annoying

Sure, but that's still not saying much.

I just hit him with lightening, and then would use the saber when he was stunned. Other than that I might use force push on him a couple times, but once you get the hang of it, he's not very difficult.

Well we haven't heard much about the Wii version having all these audio and video glitches. In fact, we haven't heard about many Wii glitches at all. just worse graphics (which is expected).
