So I finally got around to installing Ubuntu on my old POS computer (900MHz, 128MB Memory yeah I know it sucks). Problem is, it would be very difficult for me to have to plug the Ethernet cable into the back of my modem (two totally different rooms).

My question is, is there any Wireless adaptor that I can get for a PC? One that plugs into a USB port and allows wireless connection to a router? Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Try and get hold of a Zyxel-202

They go really cheap on ebay and have excellent linux compatibility
He's running Ubuntu... most popular wireless USB adapters should be supported.

Sudo make me a sandwich.
So most of them should work? Even newer ones provided I have the latest Ubuntu installed?
Well, no, I would still get something that's heavily supported in Linux just incase you use try something besides Ubuntu later (it happens).

I'm just saying Ubuntu is pretty heavily supported for most common consumer products.
I'd make sure you get a common one that's not brand new, I made that mistake when I got the newest version of the Belkin F5D7050 (or whatever it is) and hardware revisions 1-4 were supported but the ver 5 one was not.
