So, what are you and which do you think is best? To be part of a main stream crowd and fitting in or being individual and different.
Do you just fit into one of these groups because of who you are or do you try to be in one or the other?

I prefer to be unique, just like everybody else.
I'm not talking specific, as that way everyone will have the same answer.
Be more vague like thinking of social groups/activities/music etc.
I personally like to be more of an individual. If I tag along with everyone else, I feel uncomfortable. It's very pointless to follow everybody else like freaking sheep.

You have to find your individual identification while also integrating with society.
You'll always be in some group, even if it's the group of people that want to not be in a group of people.
I would lean toward individualism more than group, but again, you have to find a role in society.

Individuality is more pronounced if you consider yourself to be an outsider or not "one of the crowd", but sadly, the first chance someone gets to conform and be like the other people, they just on it, because we're wired such that we need to feel like we're not alone.
I hate being alone, but I do my own thing. If you do the same as everyone else, you just become part of the scenery.
Quirks are what make people interesting.

I find it amusing in that trying to set oneself apart by joining a clique', you effectively remove your own sense of identity.
Instead of John Doe, you become John Doe the _______ .
Of course when confronted about this, the universal response is "You don't understand!". How original.
