I'm pretty sure that we all know that Brawl lacks (fairly heavily) in balance, so I decided to
copy make this thread to ask just what the title suggests:
How would you balance Brawl?
Now I'm talking not just of the
(current) tier list, but physics, and stages. Items, too, if you feel that it's a big enough balance issue to discuss.
Also, in before FD edge hate. It still bugs the hell out of me.
I'd dumb down the power of Sonic's FS. And then I'd increase his power to make him more of a character that doesn't have to rely on FS to consistently win.
id weaken sonic's fs and sonic (hes to fast and to strong) id shorten all the star fox team tanks to like 8 secs. make mediknight less spamy,speed up the game, fix up fd,the plant stage(one with the red/green leaves), greenhill (im sorry but that stage curses me)/slow down diddy/slow down ike and fix up his b attack/ weaken marth and make his moves less spamy/increace the melee stages size so there more like they were in melee/ modify lugi fs/
I'd make the only playable character Captain Falcon.
i'd make pit's neutral b less spammable, that's all i can really think of... :/
I'd get rid of FS attacks, they suck anyway. And I'd nerf Metaknight, and Snake a bit. And I'd cut Brawl FD and add Melee FD.
Agreed. Metaknight and Snake need to be nerfed a small bit. Also sum lag and not as much distance covered during the Fsmash for wolf would be great since it is extremely spammable. Those are really the only 3 problem characters since I see those 3 all the time in ladders n such.
Others may be taking out the annoying edges for FD. So many recoveries have been screwed to the wall because of it. lol.
Take out MK

- Take out tripping.
- nerf MK and Snake
- Take away nerfs from CF, Shiek, Samus and Thunderbeard.
- no more landmasters.
- more stages to be used as CP's
