I'm trying to improve my smashing abilities, so I looked on IGN's advanced techniques FAQ. As soon as I looked at some of this stuff, I started to feel dizzy. They're throwing acronyms out and they don't even tell you what they mean.

I'm seeing words like RAR, RAP, and BFBSHBair. It's making my head spin, and I don't even know what its supposed to look like.

Can somebody please explain some of these terms before I go temporarily insane?

RAR = Reverse Aerial Rush, which is the process of tapping back on the control stick right before you jump out of a dash and in doing so you'll continue the initial direction whilst jumping but facing the other way. It can also be performed by B-sticking and jamming the C-stick in the opposite direction of your dash. Most useful for characters with good bair attacks (which is a lot of characters in this game)
