It seems like the easiest things can be made overly complicated once your rack your brain with a question for so long, so I figured I'd just ask the question on here.

I've ordered the HIS Hightech H467QS512P Radeon HD 4670 512MB, which comes with two DVI ports on the card.  My monitor supports DVI, but I can't find the adapter to go from VGA to DVI, because right now I'm using the built-in graphics chip from the computer which uses VGA.

The HIS card comes with a DVI to VGA adapter.  Should that be ok?

Now this whole question might seem really stupid, but I was thinking I'd need a VGA to DVI adapter.  VGA to connect to the monitor and DVI to go into the new card.  Should the adapter that comes with the card do what I need it to do?
Thanks for everyone's help on this issue.
lol, Sorry watching the grand prix qual so wasn't on, Yeah the addapter that comes with will be perfectly fine, but you would have better output using a proper DVI cable,

For the addapter all you do is plug it into the primary port on the gfx card and the other end into the vga on your monitor, simple easy, etc etc

ps your right it was a stupid question Toungue Wink
sorry!!

I'm inactive at the moment because I'm settling into uni, so this is only the 2nd time I had to visit wiiloaded this week! But yeah, the DVI adapter that comes with the card will be fine
You'll get a picture with a straight DVI cable. I'm not sure I understood your question but it sounded like you are using a VGA cable with a DVI adapter on at least one end, maybe both. If you monitor has a DVI port, get a DVI cable. Heck, I'll send you one if you'll pay for the shipping (got tons of them).
