Japan is receiving a new console on their VC, the NEC SuperGrafx. It's basically a beefed up version of the PC-Engine (TurboGrafx-16). It's quite a rare console with five games released over the course of its life time.

You can still get your hands on one via eBay or by scouring Tokyo's second-hand game market (we found this one, new-in-box, for about $250 at the Akihabara Super Potato). Thankfully, Wii owners won't have to embark on a treasure hunt for a SuperGrafx or its games, the first of which to appear on VC is the console's launch title, a superb port of Capcom's Daimakaimura (Ghouls n' Ghosts).

There are no announced plans to bring it elsewhere.

Well with a such a small library why not, the question is are those games any good.
Generally, it's something to ignore. Nothing to really go crazy over unless you're a grafX fan. As much as I like them, the Super never striked my fancy. Turbo is where it's at, shame I can't seem to find a reasonable ebay one.
