We all remember the announced Wii sequel to Square-Enix FF spin off called Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. While we're still waiting on info for that game, SE has announced another entry to the Crystal Chronicles saga. It is titled: Echoes of Time (previously rumored to be a new entry in the Chrono series) and it will be released simultaneously for the Wii and the DS.
Here's the kicker though: it comes equipped with the new 'Pollux Engine'. Wii and DS owners can connect to each other over Wi-Fi. Also, you'll be able to play with people all over the world via Wi-Fi.
The story focuses on a girl who is fast approaching her 16th birthday and she's venturing out of her village for the first time.
This will be hitting Japan on January 29. Both are priced at 4,800 yen which is about 1,000 yen less than a typical Wii title and identical pricing for a DS game.
