This is great. I'll be picking up Mario Tennis for sure. Although, it makes me wonder why they didn't just do this with Mario Baseball instead of releasing a new one. Considering they didn't actually change much, at least, that's the impression I'm getting.
I might even give Metroid another try; I've never really been able to get into the Metroid series.

This actually has me a little peeved. Why waste time upgrading old games and tacking on controls when you could be developing new titles/property? Oh, because it prints money... I forgot. They better either be dirt cheap or have loads of added content. I won't be buying either metroid likely. I've beaten Prime enough times and 2 was no fun imo. Mario Tennis is a maybe..

I'll only be buying the Metroids. The others are of no interest to me. With Corruption-like controls, the first Prime game would be even closer to perfection.

I do complain about Nintendo a lot, and mostly it's because of how screwed up they have been about handling the Wii. But I at least know they stand little chance of screwing up Wii re-toolings of the greatest Gamecube games. If they find a way to screw them over (like how Sega ****** up the re-release of Sonic Adventure) then I'll give up on them.
And as for the rumour, I honestly don't even REMEMBER when it started. Lol, it's really that old now. So it may have been them, or it may have started elsewhere.

And a gamestop employee took a picture of an upcoming release of Metroid 1 and 2 on the wii on the gamestop computers. I think it was gamestop anyway.
Honestly, I don't care. Don't want to buy classics. Fine. Just do yourself a favour in the future and invest in worthwhile 360 games. It has a good library... Too Human isn't on the "good library" list. SH5 would have been a much better purchase. And that's coming from me.

Im honestly not even sure, the challenges would be nice. They have that in MM9 did you see that?! its harder then the achievements!
What challenges could be added to MP1&2. They'd have to alter the game content to add different stuff. And as zomg-worthy as that would be. I don't see it happening. Don't get me wrong, but unless they add another difficulty over "Hard" I don't know what challenges there would be. Wii would need achievements to make them worthwhile.
if they can add motion controls. simple text indicating challenges shouldnt be hard either. but like i said, if there isnt not really new or exciting i wont be picking up any Play on Wii titles.
