No, they don't.
There's a big difference between "Here's a strike in case you made a sexist joke." and "If you made a sexist joke, you get a strike."
You just want me to be wrong.

Same thing? Yes.

Um no. One allots for the idea that I could be wrong. And if I was wrong, and if I am wrong, strike not necessary.
One doles out a strike without making sure its needed. The other "if that's what you did, I'll give you a strike". There's a big difference between doling out a punishment without knowing the facts, and warning that there will be punishment if my suspicion is correct.
You just want me to be wrong. Your logic is flawed. Please, stop trying. You're just continuing an irrelevant argument because you dislike me personally.

But you've already made your decision!
It was left neutral intentionally, to test the waters so to speak; I wanted to see just what kind of sub-forum this place was... and your reaction has shown me it is not a friendly place, it lacks a sense of humor, and it really doesn't like Powergirl!
Really, is there something so wrong with a superheroine who is both strong and beautiful? Maaaaaybe that humorous cutout animating it in motion was a tad too much for your militant tastes, but you turned my honest view into an attack against women everywhere.
Sad face.

I think that Holly's just trying to maintain the friendly atmosphere we've always had in here. I would just like to say that this is our thread, and you guys are guests here. Guests. You're more than welcome to chime in with the various topics, but when it comes to putting in your two cents it's just better to be safe than sorry.

So it's kinda like the old days when the boys and girls would build their own treehouses and be terrified of one another's cooties?
As men and women, we're past that now, at least I hope! I'm treating this place as if I'm posting on any other forum, and I don't consciously do sexist things there, either. If I do, then stop the noise and educate me, rather than slamming the tree house door in my face while watching me tumble in a bloody heap to the dirt. That's painful!
Holly faulted me on two things:
The Imagine: Babiez post, where I honestly feel Ubisoft is a patronizing piece of crap for releasing that stuff, but hey, demographics.
The Powergirl post. Yeah, I suppose the comic cutout of her chest with the words "Hey, up here." was a little much, but I figured one of you would get a kick out of her approach of being proud of her strength as a woman, and having a devil-may-care attitude about gawking idiots. Again, I bet the comic cutout is what ticked her off. Oops!

Preserved for posterity!
So, you boys out there think it's time we build our own treehouse and tremble in terror of the girls and their cooties, or should we coexist like mature men and women?
