Full Version: Gamecube "Wiimakes" Coming?

Not long ago famed game designer Shigeru Miyamoto stated to the news hungry reporters that like the many remakes for older games on the gameboy advance, Wii would like to remake games from the Gamecube and also possibly the Nintendo 64 library along with it. It isn't really fair to call the remakes "remakes" as they will actually fully implement the Wii technology for controls and whatnot and so it would be much more fitting to call these titles "Wiimakes".

This all stems from the recent development of Twilight Princess on both platforms; so far, the only known game that will reach across two consoles is the aforementioned Twilight Princess. Also stated was that these Wiimakes would be cheap and for a good reason. Nintendo didn't want you to pay 50 dollars for a title you already own on your gamecube with different controls, so expect Wiimakes to be about the same price as Players Choice Gamecube titles. This was all the news that was released on the topic.

i dont think it will be anytime soon cause he was talking about the idea, there hasnt been any real developing on the "wiimakes" as you guys cll it.

All Right!!! Hopefully there will be a Wii-make of Cubivore, Scaler, Samurai Jack, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, and Gex 2 and 3. I also know that there will be a Wii-make of Rampage: Total Destruction, with 10 new monsters.
I don't think Gex is the type of game that really would work for a wiimake. Though I will buy it for Virtual Console. Also, lets pray to god that ed ed and eddy doesn't get a wiimake.
Ed, Edd 'n Eddy? <3
:3
never heard of it... banjo tooie 'cos i never played it and i wanted to...
yet again nintendo uses remakes.. -.....-
