Does he review the Wii version? Why on EARTH would he do that?
From what I've heard the Wii version was actually the better one.
Yeah I heard some people saying that too. Though on the whole TFU wasn't that great of a game. It was fun but definitely didn't live up to the hype.
That really wasn't much of a review...it was more of a hatefest on Star Wars...honestly, is he even trying anymore?
In Yahtzee's defense. Star Wars does suck. A lot. Especially now that Lucas won't let it die.
As for his reviews, I thought we'd been here already. He's being overly critical and negative because its what The Escapist want him to do. True, he's negative about the industry in general these days... but you know why?

by definition and the way he stated it, yes. But I'm sure he'll say something about exceptions. Which I tend to agree with (melee, NMH, MGS4)
Compared to Super Metroid and Metal Gear Solid 1, yes.

But a lot of games are crap compared to those.
But in terms of modern gaming, yes they would be exceptions. Along with Melee, MGS2 & 3, FF-X, etc.
Perception changes as you get older...
Anyway, I rented TFU (on Xbox 360) and actually had fun with it. In one way it exceeded my expectations based on the mediocre reviews it was getting, but on another level it was disappointing given how much hype it received in the year or so leading up to release. Still fun though. KOTOR easily remains the king of Star Wars games.
