Early last year Wii gamers were introduced to the highly stylized and very bloody No More Heroes. While the game was not without its flaws it was a diamond in the rough on a system that had become inundated with games that were either family friendly or mini-game collections. At the end of the original game players were teased with a possible sequel. Seriously, she said "too bad there won't be a sequel."
Today at TGS Suda51 pulled back the curtain on his latest project, No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, a sequel to the original No More Heroes on Wii. Aside from the fact that the game will once again star Travis Touchdown there is very little info available on the game as of now and we can't even be sure that it will be a Wii game. You'll find the trailer below and do your best to control your emotions better than I did.

This trailer actually made me feel like I missed out on the first one, so I'm going to try and get it on Monday. If I can find it, that is. So it looked like WT is off my radar right now.
SO YEAH.
Excited. Getting it. Hoorah for sequels to good/non-shovelware third party titles!
Now bring on a WEWY sequel, and I'll be set for a long while.
Also, first.
That's how I celebrate my emotional highpoint ^^
A glimmer of something playable in the future. If anyone doesn't already have the first one they should go out and get it now. That game didn't sell nearly as much as it deserved too. Support 3rd party games like this that are of quality and maybe more will appear.
If I had the money to justify buying it, then I would. But it simply isn't financially do-able at the moment. So I'm going to continue my hunt for a copy for rent.
Notice how it's called NMH: DS and looks as if they gone out of their way to put DS in.

Yeah.. they didn't announce which platform did they?
And TGS was centered around the DS... -_-;
Maybe it's a coincidence? Still, a DS version doesn't sound too bad. The DS does need some more mature titles on it...

I'll rent this, I have the first but I'm selling it as soon as I finish it.
This is awesome, I'll have to check out the first one soon.
How will they get it into our country without it getting banned?

h4x?
The board won't care. The sex scene in SA required hacking to unlock, the game was still banned until that whole scenario was fixed up.
Well from what I can understand there's going to be two different versions available at retail. The bloody one which may get banned, and then the cleaner one which could get through.
Bloodier one or nothing for me. Censored games are lame.
I haven't played they first one yet, but it sounds intriguing. May have to check it out.
The censors didn't bother me, the fun was in the game. Not seeing blood flying every where.
