Lionhead studios had previously announced that their much anticipated online co-op feature (for the highly anticipated Fable II) would not be avaliable at launch and instead would be deliver in a patch within the first few weeks of the game's launch.
Apparently they're going to provide the patch on Day 1. Keep in mind that it still going through certification through Microsoft but they wouldn't keep this one back for any reason. This is destined to be one of their biggest titles and they wouldn't let anything like a patch stop sales.

, anyway, i don't think a couple of weeks for the patch would damage sales too much, who's gonna be wanting to play co-op out of the bag anyway, i know i'd much rather have atleast a week getting used to it before i let my friends laugh at how my wife keeps running away
