I've got a riddle! What's a big annual gaming convention? E3? Nope, not that one. TGS? Guess again! Here's a hint: Think German. What? Germany has a convention too? If you didn't already know, the German Games Convention was in play during the Wii hours of the morning for us.
So what happened at this convention? Unfortunately, we haven't gotten any major news like price or release date, but we did hear about two sequels to rather popular GameCube games! Yay!
Our first sequel is Mario Strikers: Charged. If you've never played Super Mario Strikers, it's not just another Mario sports game. (Although there are a lot...) From the first time I played it, I thought of it to be a really great game, and not just some crappy spin-off. The sequel looks promising, but not much was shown. However, when a ball is kicked toward the goalie, you have to block the balls as a pair of gloves in a mini-game like scenario.
The other sequel announced was Battalion Wars 2. This game had even less information about it, unfortunately, but hopefully it will come soon.
Look for these games in your store after the Wii comes out!

Floating hands are not very helpful in soccer. Floating feet are a different story.
