I really do not understand telemarketing. I really dont. bastards call you early in the morning [because they live like 3 hours ahead of time] and get you to sign up for stuff that you have no clue over. I tried being nice to these guys, but they finally caught me off gaurd. took my gaming money [I was going to buy 007 QoS] now i can not. So Im going to call these people and be so rude. and cancel that subscription. I mean i know they are out to make money like the rest of us, but WHO NEEDS MAGAZINES?! thats what the internet is for!
upset. /rant
Everyone hates telemarketers (except for the Telemarketers that is, and even they hate it when another telemarketer calls them)
While they're annoying I don't take it out on those people. After all, no one dreams of being a telemarketer when they grow up. If you do, I pity you.
Oh....

In Canada the government recently initiated a "national no-call list" that you can add your number to, and it becomes illegal for telemarketers to phone you, or they will face fairly substantial fines.
By the way, don't be stupid and actually sign up for something from a telemarketer if you hate telemarketers

(looks at Minty...)
We have a similar list here, but I'm not on it. I will not direct any anger towards them, as they are just doing what they are paid to do. Hell, if I was being paid to do that then I wouldn't mind... half of the calls don't even get completed anyway.
I do however hate the Telemarketing profession.

I love you Canada.
Yay Canada. Although I honestly cannot remember the last time I got a telemarketer calling the house.
All we ever get are those scams where they try to get you to press a number (which will then automatically charge you like.. 300$ for long-distance of something).
"Congratulations! You've won a cruise to [insert island here] press 1 now to talk to a representative!"
*hangs up*
i got lucky. they didnt take any money. =]
How did you accidentally give them money? D:
I'm at University now, so I haven't gotten a telemarketer call in ages.

IDK how, but they had enough info on me and my card, and i was sleepy so i was just saying yeah yeah eayh listening to garble.
like i said, i got lucky =]
