Yeah I know, but still, SSBM looked better than the Command version of Fox... I can't quite put my finger on it but there is someting about the design which doesn't sit right with me... I think it could be the head which annoys me the most.
Like pistons said, it is an opinion. It doesn't mean that is the one going to be in the game. The thread is asking which one you want to see. I understand that I may have a different opinion then you, but it is ok.

Indeed it is okay.
I just found the newer design of Fox by Namco to be slightly strange looking. I'm not sure if I was the only one, but I liked him better in SSBM mode, so I personally am hoping that he stays in that form.

i think we all agree the ds fox sucks, and is a bit of disappointment for the first star fox handheld game, but oh well, whats done is done. i honestly prefer he assault fox over the ssbm fox, cause that fox looks a liittle fatter compared to the other fox's

Its sad but I can see Fox being upgraded to Assault Fox, because Link appears to be upgraded to TP Link. I wouldn't be fussed too much in the end since I'm a Fox player, but my preference goes towards the SSBM design.

fox is my main character in both previous SSB games and hopefully the next and so on, i think he'd be even cooler as assault and if possible weild the staff, but only if its optional

I'd hope the staff is optional because honestly I see it more as Krystal's weapon now... its her staff so she should wield it. Fox should stay as he is with a few different moves for the sake of moving onto the next generation.

if the staff was there i'd use but probably more w/o it, cause i really like how fox is a hand-to-hand kombat fighter
