Wii Archery and Wii Javelin would work. You probably wouldn't actually throw the Wiimote, just make the motions. And for Archery, you could emulate the bow holding hand with the nunchuck, and the arrow holding hand with the Wiimote, and when you move the Wiimote away from the nunchuck, it draws back the arrow. But then, how do you release the arrow? Maybe just drop the Wiimote?

Archery would be great, but maybe instead of dropping it when you pull back you press a button or make the wiimote just go forward.

Then that might very well be a Wii sports game, and if you think about it you can use the Wii as a stick thingy for pool.

I'd be hoping these games online... since as you said, 3rd party titles will possibly not have online so Nintendo needs to make up the numbers with their on Wi-Fi titles.
i think any game with multiplayer could go wi-fi
