I know this is late news b/c it was announced at e3 but i just now got around to reading it. Rare is making one ds games offically now and more may come. Diddy Kong Racing. I loved that game for n64 it was my second favorite game behind Banjio-Kazooie. Hopefuly they will make a banjio-kazooie game for the ds to. There is a movie and one image at this link

Although I already know this,this is still good news.Lets hope for Banjo-Kazooie on the Nintendo DS and also...why not Banjo-kazooie in Super Smash Bros Brawl? Hey they were on a nintendo console....

i will buy diddy kong its wi fi so it have a,lot of potendial more than mario kart if u can chat and if there is battle modes also on wi fi

Microsoft bouaght rights to Rare's console game making but Rare is still free to make games for Nintendo's handhelds.
...because MS isn't competing in the handheld market. Which is probably why we won't see Rare games on the Virtual Console because MS doesn't want to give it's competitors a leg up.
