I'm pretty sure everyone's noticed how the Wii gaming forum has been split up. (General Gaming, SSBB, LoZ: TP, MP3). I personally liked it better the other way because then everything was in one place. If we're really worried about people posting so many topics relating to one game we should just tell them to start posting in the "Official" game thread. Isn't that why it's there?
The problem with the offical game threads is that once the games come out, there will be so much posted on each game that the "offical" thread would get rediculously long and hard to navigate. The subforum for each major game gives members a chance to navigate and discuss certain topics regarding that game without having to read through the entire "offical" post. In other words, "offical" threads about the games will be phased out and replaced with subforums for games that require their own subforum due to popularity.
I see that now. But maybe place the sub-forums within the games forum instead of out in front.
I considered that, but once we have several games that are popular enough to have their own forum, the subforums will take up well over a page before a user can see the threads within the general gaming forum.
I agree with the sub-forum setup.
I vote the new way.

I could write a mod? compress or even remove the little subforums table from certain forums?

Let's save for 1.2, as we have quite a bit of work to get ready for that as it is!
hehe, truetrue Toungue
Have a new forum section just for popular games.
Does the current set-up not satisfy that?

For me it does, I'm just suggesting to settle the debate.
