Check NintendoWiFi.com.
I'm also looking for a (wireless) router.

thinking of getting a Sprint PCS wireless connection card for my laptop, and then using a USB Wi-Fi Connector to connect my DS (and Wii), but I don't know if the connection will be fast enough. All the specs I can find just say that a "High-Speed" internet connection is required. Sprint's EVDO network offers speeds averaging "400-700 Kbps, with peak speeds up to 2 Mbps."
Does anyone know if that will be fast enough for the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, or will I just have to break down and get DSL?
Thanks!

Yeh, the speed is enough
I'm usure as to whether to two are compatible though. just retain your receipt

Do you have a wireless router or base station?

A router is your best way to go. Just get a router that is compatible with the ds wifi. (found on nintendowifi.com)

I don't have a router, but since I only have one computer, I thought the USB WiFi Connector would be the cheapest way to go.
Since I'm an employee of Sprint, I can get web access through one of their PCMCIA cards pretty cheaply (they don't sell a desktop modem that uses EVDO), I just didn't know if that would be fast enough. It sounds like it will work just fine. I'll be sure to save the receipt just in case though!
(By the way, if anyone knows exactly what the minimum speed that's required for the WiFi Connection, that would be fabulous)
Thanks everyone!
