1. What is Super Smash Bros. Brawl?
Brawl is upcoming sequel to the popular Super Smash Bros. Series. The Super Smash Bros. series was introduced 1999 on the N64. It featured Nintendo characters from all a variety of games. The characters were then controlled by a player and fought against each other on different stages modeled after areas in many popular series. This fighting had the simplest of controllers of any other fighting game, which hedged fun over competitiveness.
In 2001, a sequel to the original was released on the Nintendo Gamecube, and was considered a huge improvement from its predecessor. This game featured 11 new playable characters and many new stages.
The next Super Smash Bros. game will be released on the Nintendo Wii. This sequel will again feature new characters and stages, and new abilities for each character. Brawl is the first game in the Smash Bros. Series to support gaming over WiFi and the first to feature at least one character that isn't owned by Nintendo. Back to Top
2. When will it be released?
Nintendo had announced at E3 05, the same year they announced the Revolution (as they called it then), that the game would be originally released at launch, but then at E3 06 they announced it would be released early 2007, mostly likely Q1 of 2007. Back to Top
3. How much will it cost?

4. What characters are confirmed?
Mario- the fire ball throwing plumber from the Super Mario series. He has been featured in both games and is as always a well-rounded character.
Link- the hero of the Legend of Zelda series is a Hylian swordsman who has appeared as a fighter in both previous Super Smash Bros. games.
Samus/Zamus (Zero-Suit Samus) - the heroine of the Metroid series, appears in both previous Super Smash Bros. games. She returns in Brawl not just in her Power Suit, but also as Zero Suit Samus, which is based on her unsuited form from Metroid: Zero Mission. She loses her suit under special conditions which remain unknown.
Kirby- the main character of the Kirby series and has appeared in both Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee. Unique as having the ability to suck opponents into his mouth and swallow them, taking on aspects of that character's appearance and copying one of that character's signature attacks.
Pikachu- the unofficial mascot of the Pok?n series, and has appeared in both previous Super Smash Bros. games.
Meta-knight- a recurring character from the Kirby series, and is the second of the series to become a Super Smash Bros. fighter. In the trailer shown at E3 2006, he can be seen performing quick sword strikes and blocking an attack with his cloak, which blends into the background.
Pit- the hero of Kid Icarus makes his first playable appearance since the 1991 Game Boy game Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters. He can separate his bow into two separate swords.
Wario- Mario's rival and star of the WarioWare, Inc. and Wario Land games, makes his first playable appearance in the series. His appearance is based on his WarioWare costume.
Snake- the main character from Konami's Metal Gear franchise is the first third-party character to become a Super Smash Bros. fighter. His appearance is taken directly from MGS2. We did not see any of his move set, but Nintendo has said he will use explosives and hand to hand combat.
Fox McCloud- is the main character of the Star Fox series. He appeared in both Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee, and, as confirmed on November 3, 2006, at the Nintendo World Tour, he makes a return in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.[3] Very little information has been released about him as of yet, but it is shown that he will use his blaster like in the two previous Smash Bros Games. Fox's look has been heavily redone for Brawl, and he now appears closer to his design in Star Fox Command.
