Q: What characters will be in Brawl?
A: All characters known so far are: Mario, Link, Pikachu, Kirby, Meta Knight, Pit, Zero Suit Samus, Wario, and Snake.
Q: When is the release date?
A: The North American release date is not yet known. However, we do know that it will be released in 2007.

Other than the 5 Newcomers, nothing has been said about the since. but these are good questions
Q: did they take out wavedashing?
A: We don't know yet but if you watch the E3 trailer VERY carefully when it is zooming on Snake's box, we see Mario get hit by an arrow and when he hits the ground he appears to slide... but no confirmation yet.
i think thats just him recovering from the move or something like but, this is not the place to discuss that
i hope it comes back. it was one of those secrets that you had to find or hear about to get even better at the game. plus, im pretty good at it

idk but that would be really cool. it would promote the game as well as make a nice collection.
Q: will it have online multiplayer?
A: Sakurai has said that it will and last we heard they were trying to make the online multiplayer work properly with 4 players.
really? thats interesting. would that mean you have three other players connected to the same console and have online matches?
There has been news of Ridley, Baby bowser, windwaker link and waluigi joining the newcomers.
There is also a possibility of classic and paper mario characters.
There is a rumor going round that sonic and petey pirrana will be joining the cast and maybe conker from conkers bad fur day. However this is only a rumor and therefore highly doubtfull.
