A return to a two player adventure mode would rock... I remeber those days where you and a friend could sit down to an afernoon/evening of Mario Bros. action... I'd love to see SMG revive that element of Mario.

Mario and luigi would be good.

I think that the multiplayer will be mini games or something like that. But it would be cool to have mario and luigi in there together, kinda like how Donkey Kong games on super nintendo worked, where you could tag the other player in. Then, let Mario and Luigi each have different abilities that would fit into different situations. Just a thought.

okay, i may be WAYYY off base on this, because i still haven't plunked down the change for a DS, but i thought i heard that the SM64 re-release on DS involved the ability to play cooperatively with other players. can anyone confirm or deny? if so, that would be a big tipoff as to how multiplayer may work on SMG.

SM64 DS wasn't cooperative but it did provide competetive games.
