That's right, people. The long awaited Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games are out. Now we can actually hear the Pokemon talk.
Okay, We'll SEE them talk. Anyway, tis game should be quite interesting. Anyone going to pick this game up?

i like the traditional pokemon adventure/rpg games. i the the spin-offs are pointless and the only real goo one was pokemon pinball 1 & 2.
I kinda agree, many of the spinoffs don't do so well, IMO. However, I did like Puzzle Challenge. Anyway, I played the demo of this at a local Gamestop last week, it was interesting to say the least. You start out as a boy turned into a Pikachu. You go into this "dungeon" with a Charmander that you just meant, in search of a Caterpie that had fallen into it.
Anyway... You don't randomly go into battle scenes, you'll see other pokemon running around and you can use attacks ( i cant remember exactly what one it was, probably thunderbolt ) and hit them before they get to you. Otherwise, you pretty much lash out melee attacks and stuff, bring up your ability menu whenever you can and use another special attack, etc. It's really wierd, but it's kinda fun. I dunno if i'll go pick it up though... Just waiting for Diamon & Pearl.
yea diamond and pearl will kick ass, but you'd have to wait til spring 07. and then like another year for pokemon battle revolution on the wii. i'm thinking od getting that pokemon ranger for a while, then selling it.
i saw mystery a mystery dungeon trailer and was immediatly turned offn
however i am glad that their doin something different with the handheld pokemon
