I'm gonna sticky this because it's not going to be until the 19th of November before many of you get a chance to hold a Wiimote in your hand... but I was @ E3 and I have played the Wii, so I will state my first impressions.

The first thing that hit me was how light the Wii-mote was. It was lighter than my cable remote control thats for sure. It felt very comfortable in my hand both the nunchuck and Wiimote... and I was lighting up with Anticipation while Red Steel was loading. I couldnt keep the **** eating grin off of my face.. after months of anticipation and I finally had it in my hand... WiiVOLUTION!

Sorry I got carried away at the very end lol, after thinking back on that day makes me want the 19th to come right away!... anyhow post here your first thoughts and your first impressions after holding and using a Wiimote in your hand for the first time!
i thought it wa perfect but mant of my gaming friends hated it
A simple misunderstanding I'm sure, but jonathanober.. the general age on this board is very young, so keep stuff like that which is unappropriate in the case where little kids will make jokes or just be shocked at any misunderstanding idea they get from it off.

WHere did you get your hands on a Wiimote?

There could be people under 13 anywhere...what does that have to do with anything? I wasnt telling you what to do with it. Jeez.

Anyways, its an attachment for iPods that make vibrations...its a massager, for, er...neck pain.

Get a grip Matt.

I find no problem with it. It's a picture of an actual iPod product, the OhMiBod iPod Vibrator has no phalic appearance, it looks more like the Nintendo Wii Sensor Bar than anything--so I guess we should stop showing pictures of that too.

If you're under 13 and on these boards, it's illegal for THEM to be here and THEIR parents are the ones responsible--not you or I.
Furthermore he was discussing the expansion slot of the Wiimote, saying they can make anything for it, like the iPod.

People need to lighten up. A picture of two pieces of plastic and metal is not obscene.

I agree with poet, but rules are rules, and you guys gotta take that up with joker.
End the discussion of it now and get back on topic.
I think the Wii-mote will be a little small. Anyone else worried aout this?

Wow, wasn't this supposed to be a thread for discussing first impressions of the Wiimote? I haven't felt it yet, so I can't say anything, but, c'mon, at least get back on topic, and take this discussion elsewhere, like, to the random topic forum.

Yes, all discussional posts other than your first experience with a Wiimote will and has been deleted.

Haven't held one yet, but when I do, I think it'll go...

not really its about as tall as the wii and the wii is only about 6-8 in tall and the wiimote looks about that

The wiimote?
my main worry is like the stretching to reach the buttons, i wouldnt know until i actually got to the wii-mote...
poet, speaking from experience, the wiimote is not too small, its just right,

and as far as having to stretch for the buttons... you'll be fine, the game you play whereu have to press A or B(or 1,2) wont have u holding it in a compromising position to make a stretch.

ye ye. i tell no secrets. Big Grin

Woohoo i had a play around with the WiiMote

Didnt play any games or anything just held it.

My impressions are.......its okay

I dont know if its a new type of controller ors its because i have wierd hands but it didnt seem as comfortable to hold. Fair play i didnt play a game or anything with it so i dont really know how to hold it, so maybe when playing wii tennis it might be better.

The trigger bottom is near the front, this obiviously makes the back a little heavy where the batteries are kept. However i think you can get used to this, once again i didnt have a ninchuck so again this could make a different.

The front buttons are easy to get to.
I haven't held a Wiimote yet, but when I get a grip on this thing, the only thing I;m going to say is "Wow."
how light it felt, how much it vibrated. And how good of a sound that little speaker produced.
I get the wii before you lot haa!! cos im in uk!... wait, if i do get the wii, it'll be for christmas.... dangit.

ah well.
