also star fox. SSB. these are the main reasons i stick with nintendo. others just dont make em like they do.
Star Fox is fourth most important to Nintendo I'd say.

I thought that game was awesome, TYVM!
The soundtrack was awesome, and it was nice to see Fox using strategy on foot instead of the ship this time! Ha-RUMPH!
Apparently Noxus is going to appear in Metroid Prime 3. Whether or not any of the other hunters will also appear is unknown, but that atleast shows that he's got some sort of importance.
Also, the Metroid game timeline goes like this:

Metroid Prime 3
Metroid 2: Return of Samus

And Ridley appears in

I never got to far in Return of Samus it didn't interest me, but the point is Ridley is important to the damn series so clearly he deserves a spot in SSBB over any other Metroid character.
Yeah, Ridley would be awesome as a playable character, and if anyone's got a shot at getting in it's him.

i couldnt if i wanted to cause i no longer have my GCN. but from i remember he wasnt so big compared to samus, but what about char.s like kirby and pikachu.

I know, if they use Metroid Prime model then he'll need downsizing. But I think Meta Ridley should just be like Giga Bowser and be a final boss or in an event match. And then Ridley from Metroid should appear as a playable character (The one from the SSBM intro)
