If Snake coming to SSBB is the best thing for him then let it be the best thing. It's his opinion. To me, the best thing about it is that you get to use the GC controller instead of the Wii-mote.
snake isnt impressive to me at all, and i didnt know who he was unti i saw that SSBB trailer. when the game comes out i'll totally destroy w/ pit.
You didn't know who Snake was? Wow. What kind of human can exist without knowing Snake? Lol. Just kidding. Anyway, how about you own Snake with Pit, then I own you with with one finger while cartwheeling into a tsunami.
okay you try that. and we'll see when it comes out.
I guess we will. Can't fight you until I see a tsunami though.
which country do you live, cause i dont think you get any just anywhere
America. We don't get many tsunami's but when one comes by I'll be sure to tell you about it.
i live in america too, i have only heard of them happening in the eastern hemisphere, so unless you plan to make a long visit. (cause they rarely happen)
Someone who didn't know who Snake was? *Calls Konami* Someone hasn't heard of MGS... wth are you guys doing?
Back to topic: I agree, the GC control element is great... I'm glad they didn't go trying to do something unique with the Wiimote it was too much of a big risk to take with a new-ish franchise such as SSB.

i agree, but i hope they dont decide to use the GC controller for SSBB game play, cause then you can't add any new moves really, i'd want the classic controller

The classic controller has one more button and it's on the top so it won't be used for anything drastic. -_-

thats true...but i wouldnt want to play a wii game w/ the GC controller
I got no problems with it, just makes it easier to get straight into the game.

i do, cause then its not moving foward and becoming a new way of gaming, cause their taking backward steps sayiing you can use the GC controller
Well, the retro controller is for classic games, such as Super Mario, and the such. The Wii-mote is for games that would feel comfortable using it. SSBB is neither. DBZ: Tenkaichi 2 can also use the GC controller. They're just using which ever controller feels the best when you play it.
okay then they make an option so you can choose which you'd want to use, so then your just using which ever controller feels the best when you play it
And that will be the GC control... honestly, I'd see them possibly ruining SSBB by trying too hard to put the Wiimote into it... and we don't want that.
i wouldnt want the wii-mote. and if some games dont use the wii-mote abilities i wouldnt care. it'd be like not all DS games use the tough screen for gameplay. now if the game doesnt use the wii-mote, theres the classic controller.
It's not as easy as "I want to use this controller so give me an option to use it" they'd have to make ANOTHER button map, to include the classic controller, and by yuor logic many more button maps, because everyone wants to use their own "comfortable" controller. If you used the GC controller for SSBM you can use it for this game.
but then you couldnt expand the moveset. at least on the classic controller you have a Z1 and Z2 button. and it wouldnt that hard to make a second controller map option cause they do it in many games already and plus the classic controller buttons are all placed in the same general area as the GC controller
MORE moves isn't 100% necessary, a few new touches here and there but not completely over doing it... SSB isn't meant to be a serious fighting game.
