Surely you have to have seen at least a few of those musicals... definitely should have heard of some of them.
I've seen Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat before. Pretty good play, but I was only about 7 when I saw it, so I don't remember much of it. I had no idea it was a biblical story until a couple years ago.
Also, my last year in high school (last year) we put on a production of Oklahoma!. We were prety good. The person that played Ali Hakim (pronounced like "Al-lee hack-ihm") was totally awesome. It was such an awesome play.
Ironically those are the next two shows that my local theatre company is putting on.
Joseph will be on in May... and Oklahoma in October lol.
This year we did Into the Woods and Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
I tend to dislike musicals, although I've seen and enjoyed a few of those that you've mentioned.
To pick a favourite is hard... its hard to look past Grease lol, because we all know, Grease IS the word.
best musical ever. trey parker kix ass.
long live south park
I went with a bunch of friends to see RENT when the film version was released. we brought a case of wine. needless to say, we had an awesome time hahaha
and the Reefer Madness Musical is HILARIOUS! smoke some mad bowls and it's awesome.
best musical ever. trey parker kix ass.

There are MANY musicals better than that, and for saying that is the best just proves a lack of musical theatre knowledge.
NO way! It was way underrated, because no one saw it. I loved Cannibal!, and was going to mention it before I saw that person had. By the way, that person, I now have a major secret crush on you for liking that movie. :3 Nyoro~n.
I've done a musical theater camp thing the last couple years. We did Into The Woods, Godspell, The Music Man, and Suessical. Pretty fun.
I quite like Dancer in the Dark (the Bjork musical, directed by Lars Von Trier). I was sobbing by the end.
Calamity Jane \o/
tbh most Dorris Day films.
7 Brides for 7 Brothers.
I blame my parents for bringing me up on this crap

Hey! We did "Into The Woods" as well in April, and then "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" in October.
Next year we're doing "Joseph" and "Oklahoma"
I missed that camp's Oklahoma. I heard it was very fun, though.
I really enjoyed Music Man. I was one of the mayors. Barbershop quartets ftw.
I haven't done it yet, so I can't wait.
Never seen Music Man.
It's great. You should go rent it NOW.

I'll check it out. Also want to see RENT

But don't think any theater companies are doing it over here. Darn them.
wife and i saw cabaret recently...fantastic
the kid watches highschool musical constantly
i myself am a big fan of Scrubs: the musical
couldnt be three more diverse musicals if i tried
Scrubs: The Musical was ftw! I watched it on teh internets. Dr. Cox's Musical rant ftw!
This year I'm on Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in the Circus Ensemble. I didn't want a big part because I have another play on already.
