Has anyone played abd/or beat this game? FFT is tied with FFVII as my favorite Final Fantasy and I just started playing FFTA a few days ago and got like a Lvl3 Clan at the moment and Marche is Lvl7 I think. Not far at all I'm just wondering what's in store for me because this is such a dumbed down version of FFT.
Also, who dislikes the new Job system in this? You have acquire skills from weapons--which I think is dumb.
This game RULEZ I have it right here but yet I cant beat the last boss but I like it a lot. I like the Job system. I dont see a lot wrong with the game just the Totema battles are really hard.
If you've played FFT you'd know FFTA is a watered down version of it's predecessor. It's easier and meant to appeal to a broader audience which is okay, but not meant for hardcore gamers who are looking for a challenge. Now, although FFT was difficult I played it recently and found out that it is only hard because it uses cheap tricks. Yes, cheap tricks. But all in all, it's better than FFTA. Don't get me wrong though FFTA is also pretty good. <_<
FFT is way better, no comparison.
I just beat the first Totema, wasn't that hard at all. Go like a LVL7 clan now. I play it when I'm really bored, but I've been playing the new Scarface game recently.

I got really bored and played the crap out of that game. the only reason i havent beaten the last mission and unlocked Cid is because my little bro deleted the mission item i need and i cant get another one. As soon as my cousin gets far enough in the game i will get the item from him and completely beat the game. MWAHAHAHA. Also i got the attack power on Sequence (kick butt knightsword if you dont know) to 91... i did that mission a lot.
i kinda like the game but the one on playstation killed it
