So im thinking about upgrading from a 4 port router (wired) to a Wireless router. Now i've seen wireless routers with 4 ports for wires but i was wondering, is there a limit for how many wireless users can be connected at once? I've never owned a wireless router so I have no clue how all this would work.
and while we're on the subject of routers, if I bought the Wii's ethernet adaptor would I be able to conntect a CAT5 internet cable straight into it without a router?

if the wireless router has 4 ports, then most likely you can only have 4 wireless users too. that's how mine is.

Well we bought a router from verison, and it has e1, e2, e3, e4. I think that means you an have up to four people. (And my router is compatible with my lite)
Don't know about yours tho Kinderk.

I dont have a router since I've never needed one so sakura must be talking to someone who does.
@Yenkin: The 802.11g standard allows 236 (or something close to that) wireless clients to be connected at once.
@Kindrik: If you have Cable internet - yes
If you have DSL, You'll need a router I'm afraid
Yes, sorry for the mass confusion I caused.

Awesome, I've got cable. But I found a wireless router for $30 so I'll probably just get that since the Wii's wireless.
