Actually, posting our link on other sites (that allow it) add to our backlinks and pagerank, thus boosting us on the google search lists, thus making us easier to find for people looking for a place like this. Thus, even if you do not get many people on the other sites to visit ours, linking to us builds our popularity and thus keeps us on the top of the list, easy to find for people who ARE looking for us!
