Famitsu, a leading Japanese gaming magazine, organized a post-E3 poll to find out what system gamers are interested in. The results, while not surprising to us, might catch some off guard!
The question was, "What gaming hardware are you looking forward to the most?"
The Nintendo Wii came out with 68.8% of the vote, followed by the PS3, with less than a third of the Wii's vote, a meager 21%.
The Xbox 360 got a surprising 7.2% of the Japanese vote, even though Microsoft can barely sell the system outside of North America. The Nintendo DS grabbed the last 3%.
In another poll, 88.4% of respondents claimed that the price of the PS3 is just too high.
Considering that Japanese citizens, some of the wealthiest in the world and a traditional dominant market for Sony, gave these responses, Sony may be on the verge of losing it's edge. Sony's other major market, the US, has already made Microsoft's Xbox 360 a popular console, so the PS3 may have more competition than they expect.
Did we mention that the Playstation Portable did not even make the anticipated list?

I think that the xbox only has halo that keeps it up.
