For you handheld fans, I have a another interesting question.
If you could choose a game from your handhelds repective company to port a game from a home console to a handheld console [EG: PS2 to PSP or GCN to DS] what would it be?
It would have to be...Shadow of the Colossus, or a new variant of it, from the PS2 to the PSP.
If not that, maybe port the original FFT to the PSP like they did Suikoden 1&2--which mind you, I WANT HERRA BAND. Or maybe even a new FFT that is similar to "The Pirate's Den" in FFXII--if you haven't seen the sprites from that, you need to...NOW.
I dunno, I normally like console exclusiveness because it gives flavor to the console--more definition. There's no real reason to port anything old because you can just emulate it, but all the new stuff isn't able to be replicated appropriately on a handheld--unless it's similar in power and operation.
What were your choices Junior?
I had a few ideas, that I mentioned on a few other sites... hours later.. i can not remember the best ones.
So the obvious is for the DS.... Super Smash Bros DS. Of cousre the use of the stylus will not be for actuall fighting mroe or less for the tons of mini gmaes similar to the games found on New Super Mario Bros.
One that soemone mentioned before was PIkmin on the DS as well! I never thought of it, but that would be a really cool and interesting variant on the DS.
Definitely Super Smash Bros. DS! Who wouldn't love to smash on the go?!?!?
i know it kind of doesn't go with your rule, but a DS version of Okami would be perfect. why not play a game where you control a magical brush on a game with a stylus? it makes perfect sense! otherwise i would love to see a really good RPG on the DS, like from Namco's Tales department

Yes.
I am surprised they haven't ported OoT

Same here. They might do it now after Phantom Hourglass.
RPG's are easy... some may even look better on our current gen handhelds... and somewhat translates even better...what about much harder ports?
PC to DS/PSP? [possible to see a Roller Coaster Tycoon on the DS?!]
FPS to DS/PSP [there are a few new FPS's think a older version would translate well on these portables?]
Adventure/Action to PSP/DS [soemthing like the Super Mario 64 DS... or maybe a Banjo Tooie, or even Crash on the PSP!?]
More 3D sidescrollers?
Paper Mario DS

FPS to PSP; you can play and WAD type FPS on your PSP. WAD is a type of file for a gfx engine made by idGames. It's games like Doom, Doom 2, Heretic, Hexen, etc.
Half Life 2
On to what? PSP or DS? DS has a very limited color pallette whereas PSP's display is 16mil+.

Yeah that'd be tight. I want a good sequel to Perfect Dark. PDZ was horrible.
