the only instance the 3 day limit sucked was finding all the fairies. there are like 30 fairies you have to find all over the friggin' world. it's just too much for the 3 days unless you know EXACTLY where you're going. otherwise, the different events occuring in the three days was awesome. it may have only been three days, but there was finally a game that was like real life. in OoT, everyone did the same thing everyday. years could pass and the guy's still standing in the same spot and says the same thing. in MM, he may be one place day one, another day two, etc, and may not say the same thing every day. example: the thief only steals from the old woman on day one, not EVERY night. only other game that does something like that was Pokemon Gold/Silver (maybe others. haven't played any since then). brings a since of reality to the fictional world
i agree that the three day thing was great, but it sucked waiting for things to happen, or when you needed like 5 minutes extra to defeat the bosss or do the kafei thing (which was the biggest side quest ever !!!)
Plus, once I finished MM I didn't feel compelled to go back and play it, whereas OOT I've played through 5 or 6 times since I finished it once, and I never tire of it. I occasionally go back to MM but only for short stints.
i have played through MM 1 1/2 times...
OOT i have played through 5 times...
Oot was the first zelda game for me and obviously I was blown away. I never owned MM, just rented it once so I never got the chance to finish it(might get it on VC). But MM had cooler music, especially the tune that played on the last day and the moon began falling towards the earth. I found the mp3 for that online but I can't remember the name of it.
I do agree, the song that plays as the moon falls is awesome and had powerful tune behind it *dreams of hearing it orchestrated*

But the final fight with Ganon had a powerful song playing as well *dreams of hearing that orchestrated*
