No, but I have heard of it happening, and I've heard that Nintendo is replacing them under warranty.
Try to contact Nintendo or the place you bought your DS from.
This was on AOTS and when it happened to him he destroyed the DS.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't happen to the OG DS. It's just a Lite problem.

they replace no problem. the thing is that this issue arose a few months ago, and so now they'd your just trying to replace to a new one, or a another color.
but it depends, cause unless you can prove that you bought your ds lite the same time that the defective ones were bought, then they cant say no.

mine cracked, they offered to replace it but im too lazy to let it go on a long journey without me [jk] But its no real big deal.
I went there today.. They couldnt do anything because I didnt have the reciept but I had the warrenty and they said they couldnt find it cheap bastards but if they do get it I will have a Black DS lite

Yes, call Nintendo and verbalize your warrenty to them.....and make sure they realize you are a nintendo fan and planning to get a Wii...maybe they'll throw you a coupon or something...lolz

Also, if youre a Nintendo Insider member and register your DSlite, theyll pull up the warrenty and time of purchase easily
I did call nintendo they said go to scarborough and get it repaired..Scarborough is to far (Its in canada) Even though its drivable I would rather get a Black DS lite
