Easily Mario Party 2... that game kicked ass... the other ones took the franchise WAY too far.
For some reason the image of a number three popped in my head, so yeah... I'm gonna go with three even though I don't really know them distinctively.

I like the tetris one in Mario Party 3
I can remember one where you had to hide behind objects on the stage... that one was fun, when I won.
I remember that one, MP3 had the best minigames, but wasn't better than MP1
MP3 is the only one I bought but yet I generally liked MP2 more.
I have no idea why, but I like the newer Mario Party games better. I have high hopes for Mario Party 8.
I LOVED Mario Party One, but I'd have to say 2 is my second fave.
MP2, I'm gonna have to say. the costumes were pretty funny, too.
anyone ever get bloody palms playing MP1? I never did, but it sure hurt...

I was the champ at spinning the stick. Nintendo power had a competition for high score on that, I beat the winning score by 3-4 revolutions (which I never submitted). No one wanted to face me in any game involving that as I'd smoke them right as rain.
I love them all!
I said 6 because the microphone was too funny. But I'd go with 1 if it was based off the N64 titles.
2 was my fave! 1 was kinda empty but still fun, 3 was cool too. (i havent played 4-7)
