Come people, lets share the love for one of Disney's more surprising movies.
Please tell me people here have experienced it beyond its appearence in KH... if you haven't then you really should.
You can find some of the songs on YouTube if you want to see an example of what to expect... you should definitely look into seeing the Disney Digitial 3-D version which is coming out soon/now.
I want to see the next one ... but I wouldnt want to go by myself or with any friends because they would laugh..so DVD Ftw
They'd laugh? Thats lame... this movie is not something to be laughed off. I mean, Oogie Boogie is full of bugs, worms and such creatures. He is a pretty creepy villain... and his song is really catchy.
I only watch it during Christmas time.
I've seen it. I keep forgetting what the rag-doll girl's name is.
But anyway, it's a pretty good movie, as was Corpse Bride.
Do you mean Sally? Yes its an excellant movie... and was I the only one who thought it was a bit un-Disney like? Lol.

That's it, Sally!
Thanks man. I appreciate it.
No prob.
I would love to see the 3-D edition of this film, but thats only when I can be stuffed travelling to the city... and honestly right now I can't.
i luv this movie. i first owned it when i was 6 years old, and ive loved it since, its a classic, but i hate wuts happened to it. its become some bland corporate mechanism, hav u seen how much bullshit merchandise has hit shelves in almost every store? this movie came out years and years ago, but NOW it gets super popular? wtf mate. theyve definitely butchered it in my opinion. ive seen people with tshirts and ****, BUT THEY HAV NEVER SEEN THE MOVIE, they claim they thought it "looked cool". I think its genuinely sad. i hope someone out there agrees with me.
I'm not too fussed by that, I just hope that by buying the merchandise they see the movie. I know alot of people got hardcore interested in it through Kingdom Hearts.
The reason merchandise is big again is because of the 3-D re-release most likely.
I saw NBC in theaters back in '93. What a great time that was! I was really young back then so I remember being a little spooked by the characters but that's also what intrigued me -I really love the designs of those stop motion puppets!
Not to mention, I went to Walt Disney World the following year and I actually got to see the real puppets and sets they used for the film. It was an amazing experience: there was a huge display of Halloweentown (the fountain was the coolest looking piece) and all of Jack Skellington's stop motion heads were up on the wall behind a glass case.

I envy you so very much, I would have loved to have experienced that.
As I love NBC... alot.
Yeah, seeing the set and puppets was probably my favorite part of WDW. I'm kind of wondering if there are any similar set ups with the Corpse Bride puppets these days. But anyway, I wish I had pictures of the set...I would PM them to you. It really was a unique experience.
I loved it but haven't seen Corpse Bride though. Need to check that one out, been a long time since it came and I totally forgot about it.

Me being one of them.
I never saw Corpse Bride either, I heard mixed reviews on it.
As for people who learned about NBC through KH... I'm surprised. Its definitely one of Disney's crowning achievements in musical films.
