i'm not sure if anyone else played the DS game Trauma Center: Under the Knife, but it's an awesome game. utilized the touch screen very nicely to really get a feel of surgical work. my question is, is anyone looking forward to the Wii version of the game.

here's some video for the game in case you haven't been following it so far

I may not get this game right away, but I'm happy to see it come to the Wii, as well. The DS game was brilliant. Unfortunately, I still can't get past the first part of the second chapter. You know, the one with the aneurisms.

i know. the game gets pretty hard pretty quick. even worse in chapters 3 and 4. i keep having to quit for a few weeks then start again cause it gets so frustrating at times, but it's still an awesome game
It was part of my launch pick ups but it's been replaced by either Call of Duty or Need for Speed. I might get it later.
Im getting it at launch, the DS version was great. The only thing that worries me is that I heard it was almost a direct port from the DS version of the game.
i think it should be on everyone's launch list. great title to teach you how to use the wii-mote's pointer function for other games
Definately getting this game. One of my top 5 launch window games.

Screw NFS:C, it sucks I've played it.
Trauma Center is better.

I'll probably rent Trauma Center first, but it still seems like Call of Duty's going to edge it out. Now that I look back on Need for Speed Underground 1 & 2 I realise that they were fun for a but it doesnt have much staying power. I eventually got so bored because it was almost the same race over and over again. Very repeditive.

it is, which sucks, but since i didn't get to beet the original (so friggin' hard) it works out for me. i will wait until it's used to pick it up though

I think i'll get trauma center for wii but not until probably january. I'm a pre-med bio student so if nothing else I can bring it up in conversation with my professors. I think I might get a DS just for this game. It should make it into everyone's video game library at some point.
there's no point getting it for Wii and DS. it's practically the same for both, though the Wii version does have a few more missions and slightly different tool setup. if it's on your major list of Wii pickups, you may wanna pre-order ASAP. one of the EB Games i talked to said they already pre-ordered their whole shipment

thats a very good point, it would be a good way to hone your wiimote skills, get it more precise, which will really help you in all aspets of wii gaming.

Trauma Center is to the Wii's pointer as Wii Sports is to the motion sensor. it really gives you a feel of using the pointer.

i do think it'd be a bit better to rent the game though if you're not positive you'll enjoy it. it is kind of an obscure subject for a game and may not appeal to everyone. if you enjoy fast-paced hands-on games though, i'm sure you'll like Trauma Center: UtK or TC: SO
