would it be possible to give a character the ability to heal themselves a little (only certain characters)? like part of their moveset, but then make their attacks REALLY weak?

If they stand there for a long time and they eventually get there HP back it wouldnt really matter since when you get hit once you will lose it all.

White Mages only have a few spells that do damage, plus the Black Mage is more of an icon... I mean look at Vivi. He was in FF-IX in that design to represent the old school Black Mages long since gone.

well he would be a good candidate, but i mean James McCloud. Father to Fox McCloud who was said to die when he had gone on a mission and was betrayed by Pigma. but he appeared in SFC kinda as a ghostly char.

But we already have Fox McCloud and Falco Lombardi and new Starfox characters should be Wolf O'Donnell and Krytsal.
