There were several other characters from other franchises that were in that intro and not in the game. Maybe him being in the intro of SSBMis a good indicator of him being in Brawl.

He takes to the skies and flies over the arena and drops a series of bombs. Or they could replace that with his laser that he fires as he flies across the arena.
Please note: Ridley's Final Smash move could involve him turning into Meta-Ridley to perform stuff from this video. Where as his normal form could be the one from the SSBM intro.
I would use him and of course he'd have to be shruken down. That wouldn't make him weaker or slower though. They can make adaptations in the game for him.
Every character in Brawl So far does look really good. And now that they added Final Smashes to all characters it will kinda get u to play as All the characters to find out wut is their final smash is. And how to counter against it during a fight. Oh and im just saying this to get my oppinion out. I think that Ridley (if he gets in hopefully, we need more villans) His weight would be heavier than Mewtwo but lighter than bowser. He has wings so multiple jumps makes sense.(since pit and metaknight can do it.) Of course his jumps will cover more distance than height. Thats just my oppinion...
Ridley would be as heavy or only slightly lighter than Bowser, his jumps would probably not be very high and only cover medium horizontal distance. And he *would* be a fast faller.
