O ya, ok so since they are already in the stages that pretty much confirms that they wont be playable characters (as if we already know).

What about Waluigi? They're putting in Wario, so why can't he come in too?
I personally think it would be interesting to see what he could do in a Smash game.
Its been bought up a few times and is possible. But you can't use the Wario logic because he is appearing as a rep for Wario Ware.

He has NO games that he was main character in (or games that he played a major role in)... It may still be possible, though.

like M@gicM@ker said, since he doesnt have his own game, then he has slim chancec, on top of that Wario is appearing as he does in the Wario Ware games. whilt Waluigi will come in his regular plumber suit. it doesnt sem right.
Having another character from Metal Gear Solid doesn't seem likely, I expect only one character will appear from each 3rd party title represented, otherwise too many Nintendo character spaces would be stolen.

if you mean Assist Characters or Helpers, then yes Midna would be perfect for that. but then that'll me the helpers can give players some extra abilities. for example Mida would do nothing for mario, while midna cold do some special attack with link.
That would be great, the only reason for Mario to get it would be to take it away from Link. The only assist items that would be turned on would be the ones of the characters fighting. There should also be one item that would transform into the most valuable asset to your character.
I doubt that will happen, but at least we know where Midna will possibly end up in the game. Maybe even Navi, lol.

I was thinking more that she would heal you while you battled, homage to the faeries of the Zelda games.
Honestly besides Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, and Shiek I dont think there is a need to add anymore Zelda characters.
Well, put Sheik in the maybe pile. She could also become an assist character. Which would be another terrible waste.
