my list for characters i REALLY want:

wolf
ridley
megaman (for one of 3rd party characters)
maybe krystal (with staff)
and tingle

jk about tingle

I hope Tingle is nothing in this game (but having said that I have a bad feeling he'll be an AT)

Out of that list Megaman is the only one I want to see. His chances are good to be a 3rd party character

yeah thats true but hes not really a licensed nintendo character though hes been on the nintendo systems a lot.. hes a capcom character so lets hope that capcom lets him come through lol im mean they let Snake be in the game! now its "hey why not?"

lol tingle's move as an assist trophy. he stays off to the side on a balloon and assists anyone who falls and gives them a better chance at surviving. or he will just yell the words "tingle tingle coola limpa" and ull get a piece of the map cleared for u. !!!! actually that sounds like it fits in, in the adventure mode.

and i would really like to see megman over sonic in this game. i could see megaman having more of a moveset then sonic. but then again there r alot more sonic fans then megman

But at the same time, Megaman could be seen as a bit simliar to Samus d: I don't think that he is in any way... but there are those who would use that argument.

AND FOR THE LAST TIME! SNAKE IS IN SSBB BECAUSE KOJIMA AND SAKURAI ARE CLOSE FRIENDS.

i could see a convincing argument going on there and i could see both sides to it but they dont HAVE to make megaman like samus, they could give him moves like the haduken (sp?). hes also smaller which means fasterness. faster then smaus slower then zamus

Megaman has a very good chance. Capcom and Nintendo are very close and his first game came out on NES.

That is probably the only reason an argument like that would start and it's not a very strong one.

megaman wont be like samus. of the dozens of megaman out there, i'm sure they'll make an original moveset. for one mega man doesnt have missles, grapple beam, screw attack, etc.

so is that it for the 3rd party characters?

No there should be at one more at the most. Sakurai had MegaMan on his opinion poll so he could be the 3rd slot. Sonic was wanted from the very beginning. Diddy Kong & Lucas were on that poll.

but they're 1st party and both series they came from needed characters, so they were no brainers. i really think Mega Man should be the 3rd and maybe final 3rd Party character. just like sonic, he has had numerous games on Nintendo consoles and handhelds, and first appeared on NES.

But still he was on the list too. And Like I said before in another thread, Nintendo and Capcom are close. MegaMan's first games was on the NES. He's not a far fetched choice.

mmm this is good news, the kinds news to lift my spirits. but i dont want tooo many third parties. it takes away from the game if there r too many. if megaman is in it it should be the last character and hopefully no more in the next smash brothers, whenever that is

Well then i really think he is going to be in Brawl. It would make sense.

i think he just wanted to c how ppl would respond to those ideas. i think they will all be in the game.
